Our counseling center provides

Care for women with gestational diabetes:

• group and individual dietary and regime education
• monitoring of compensation (glucometer, laboratory controls) and treatment
• cooperation with a gynecological clinic
• comprehensive monitoring of other internal complications during pregnancy and the puerperium

Care for women with pre-pregnancy diabetes – pregestational diabetes (type 1 and 2 DM, MODY, etc.):

• preconception care – preparation for pregnancy
• group and individual dietary and regime education
• selfmonitoring, continuous blood glucose monitoring (sensors), laboratory controls
• comprehensive treatment, including the possibility of switching to insulin pump therapy
• cooperation with a gynecological clinic
• care during childbirth and in the puerperium
• comprehensive monitoring of internal complications during pregnancy and the puerperium

Care for women with other internal complications in pregnancy:

• high blood pressure: pre-existing and gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, cooperation with a cardiology clinic
• liver disorders in pregnancy (gestational hepatopathy)
• eating disorders in pregnancy (malnutrition)
• increased blood clotting (hypercoagulable conditions)
• varicose veins
• thyroid disease (thyroid disease) and other endocrine disorders
• internal care for women in the puerperium, internal consultation for the obstetric part of the clinic
